The Pineland Plantation

798.5 Acres

Hampton County, South Carolina

(SOLD)

Pineland Plantation is a beautiful recreational property and lies in one of the best hunting areas in South Carolina. In the early 1700's settlers came to the area because of its abundant fish and wildlife and proximity to the ocean. The land was also good for farming and especially timber production. Plantations were established near the coast and along the east side of the Savannah River. The Pineland Plantation was established in 1805.

Pineland’s house is one of the few planter’s houses not burned during the Civil War. The Greek Revival structure, built in the early 1800’s, has been wonderfully restored and is one the most charming homes in South Carolina.
